This website was commissioned by the Passion Trust as means of telling the Easter Story online – to provide an independent resource outlining the story of Easter and its’ impact to culture and society today.

About the site development

After an eventful Easter at the Passion Trust, the team looked at new ways in which to let people know about the amazing performances that took place across the United Kingdom each Easter weekend.

Researching the resources that were available online, the Passion Trust identified that there was no website dedicated to telling the Easter Story, so the concept of TheEasterStory.org website was born. With a view to telling people about the story of Easter, and showcasing some of the amazing resources that are available to residents of the UK in putting on and visiting live performances of Passion Plays – which tell the story of Easter in a authentic, emotional and dramatic way.

Commissioned by the Passion Trust, this website was developed and published by Shoreham Web Design team, Media Sussex Ltd. Using WordPress and theme licenced to the Passion Trust – adapting it meet the purposes and designs of The Easter Story. Media Sussex have been involved in web development for over 15 years, publishing and managing sites such as Titan Garden Buildings the experts in Garden Offices, Surrey, Sussex Wedding Videographer – YourStory Video.
